Carolina Byrne
Carolina Byrne, 88, of Greenville passed away February 22, 2017 at her home in Greenville.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 25, 2017 at First Church Royse City with Rev. Jason Hammack officiating. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. Interment will follow at McWright Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Born January 16, 1929 in Foster, Oklahoma, Carolina was the daughter of Noah Pursley and Grace (Selby) Pursley. On December 21, 1972 in Wichita Falls, she married Michael Byrne.
Mrs. Byrne was a homemaker. She was a faithful member of her church. She was a charter member of First Church Royse City and a former member of Living Word Church in Greenville.
Her survivors include her husband, Michael; sons Larry and Jeffery Huff; daughters Sherry Davidson, Shelia McMullen and Rebecca Hammack; grandchildren Joey, Susan, Darell, Rhonda, Raina, Melissa, Dale, Shannon, Amenda, Eric, Tonia, Bonnie, James, Joshua, David, Michael, Nicholas and Noah; 21 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 10 brothers and sisters; son Sammy Huff; two daughters Carol Robinson and Judy Gail Inman; and one grandson Russell Wells.
Pallbearers will be Michael Hammack, Corbin Hill, Rick Morton, Jerry Huffman, Ronnie McGuire, and Nathan Henderson.
