Carol Burdette
Carol Marie Burdette, 70, of Greenville, died Monday, April 17, 2017 at her residence. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, April 24, 2017 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Hailes officiating. Visitation will be Monday, 1:00 PM until service time.
Mrs. Burdette was born in Greenville on February 2, 1947. She was the daughter of Loyd Mayo Williams and Marjorie Elizabeth Dawson Williams. She was a member of Park Street Baptist Church and employed at Walmart.
Survivors include her son, Richard Allen Burdette, Jr. of Greenville; daughter, Candy Renee’ Burdette Elmore of Greenville; brothers, Steve Mayo Williams of Greenville and Randal Loyd Williams of Galveston; sister, Jerry Elizabeth Tapley of Point; grandchildren, Justin Dewayne Elmore and Emily Nicole Elmore Elliott; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
