Alice Mae Foster, 93, of Caddo Mills, died Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Hunt Regional Medical Center. Graveside service will be 3:00 PM, Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry McGinn officiating. Visitation will be 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Foster was born in Hunt County, Texas on September 1, 1923. She was the daughter of Dan Mathews and Lizzie Isham Mathews. She married Mike Carnegie Foster on November 11, 1944. She was a retired Licensed Vocational Nurse and a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Monnie Blackwell and husband, Lanny of Caddo Mills; sons, Danny Mike Foster of Carrollton, Tommy Foster and wife, Bobbie of Greenville and Johnny Foster and wife, Linda of Henderson; twelve grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Clarry Foster; grandson, Mathew Foster; two sisters and one brother.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Smith, Jon Ayers, Jason Foster, Daryl Miller, Richard Bench and Mike McMackin.
