Auda Cathrine Wallen, 92, of Greenville, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Harrison House of Greenville. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Royce Litchfield and Rev. Ryan Litchfield officiating. Interment will be in Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be 1:00 PM until service time, Saturday.
Mrs. Wallen was born on April 25, 1925 in Collin County, Texas. She was the daughter of Ike Buford Cripps and Dora Jewel Adams Cripps. She was a long time employee of F. W. Woolworth and S. & H. Kress of Greenville. She was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Gary Wallen and wife, Rita, Tommy Wallen and wife, Lisa and Ray Wallen and wife, Becky; grandchildren, Amy Litchfield and husband, Bryan, Debra Kilgore and husband, Jeremy, Alan Wallen and wife, Danna, Jason Wallen and wife, Stacey and Nicholas Wallen; fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and another one on the way. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Booth; son-in-law, Tom Booth; parents and fifteen siblings.
Pallbearers will be Alan Wallen, Jason Wallen, Nicholas Wallen, Bryan Litchfield, Jeremy Kilgore, Tim Rosenthal, Cody Garrett and Klinton Kilgore.
