Betty Joan Rogers, 74, of Greenville, died Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Seasons Hospice in Dallas. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, July 28, 2017 in Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Shaddox officiating. Interment will be in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Mrs. Rogers was born January 10, 1943 in Kingston, Texas. She was the daughter of Riley Pearce and Lenna Mae Yeary Pearce. She was married to William (Bill) Rogers on October 4, 1974 in Shreveport, Louisiana and was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, William (Bill) Rogers of Greenville; son, Ben Bloyed and wife, Sandy of Greenville; daughter, Stacey Landrum and husband, Keith of Greenville; grandchildren, Gerald Landrum, Jill Battles, Morgan Bloyed and Maygan Bloyed; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marie Glasscock; and brother, Charles Riley Pearce.
Pallbearers will be John St. Leon, Tillman Bostick, Brett Moore, Davey Heald, Ben Bloyed and Rick Landrum.
