Dorothy Lee Hart, 95, of Greenville died August 28,2007, at her residence. Funeral services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Friday, August 31, 2007 in the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Laddie Hixson officiating. Burial will be in Wieland Cemetery.
Visitatin is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday,August 30th at the funeral home.
Born January 23, 1912, in Leonard, she was the daughter of David Jackson and Mary Finn White Cantrell. She was married to Clayton Hart on November 7,1929 in Durant, Ok. Mrs. Hart was a nurse, and she was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving are two daughters, Sherlene McMillian and son-in-law Holmes of Greenville and Wanda Nell Patterson of Greenville, a daughter-in-law, Sarah Hart of Huntsville, grandchildren Steve McMilland and Jeff McMillan of Arlington, Ed Patterson and wife Deanna of Greenville,Tammy and husband Blair Ford of Maypearl and Kathy and husband Le Self of Campbell, 19 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1975, a son, Jerry Hart in 1996, daughter Mary Oneita Hart in l935, a grandson, Christopher Hart in l994, son-in-law Arlyn Patterson in 1975, one brother and three sisters.
Pallbearers will be Steve McMillan, Jeff McMillan, Ed Patterson, Clay Cox, Drew Patterson and Matthew Patterson. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Cantrell and Jerry Cantrell.
