Ernestine Martin, 92 of Greenville, passed away on January 2, 2018. A graveside service is scheduled for 9:30 A.M., Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Memoryland Memorial Park with Deacon Lee Davis officiating. Visitation will be Friday, January 5, 2017 from 3 P.M. to 5 P.M. at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Mrs. Martin was born on October 10, 1925 in Nashville, Arkansas to Ernest Shaddox and Cleo Walden. She married Clifford G. Martin on December 18, 1949 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was a homemaker, a member of St. William Catholic Church and a member of The Knights of Columbus. She is survived by her sons, Clifford Martin, Jr., and wife, Laura, Clovis, New Mexico and Philip Martin of Kerrville; daughter, Mary Appleby and husband, John of Scottsdale, Arizona; grandchildren, Alden Hultgren and husband, Hubert of Scottsdale, Arizona and Shannon Appleby of Seattle, Washington; great-grandchildren, Hudson Hultgren and Ander Hultgren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband in 2012.
