David Earl Gill, 78, of Greenville, formerly of Henrietta, Texas, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Hunt Regional Medical Center. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with his brother-in-law, Mr. Doyle Davis officiating.
David was born in Henrietta, Texas on October 13, 1939 to Thad Gill and Laura Hurd. He married Ka Tennell in Carlsbad, New Mexico on October 13, 1981. He was a part of the family business, Gill Electric Service, a utility contracting company. He was a Mason and a Shriner.
He is survived by his wife, Ka Gill; daughters, Leslie and Lisa and husband, Mark; sons, Michael and wife, Glenda and Jeffrey and wife, Tonya; four brothers; one sister; sister-in-law, Kathy; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kris and Tracie; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
