Edward Douglas McRimmon, 88, of Royse City, passed away on February 23, 2018 at Legend Healthcare. A funeral service is scheduled for 2 P.M., Monday, February 26, 2018 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randall McDonald officiating. Burial will be in Simmons Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mr. McRimmon was born on August 27, 1929 in Stephenville, Texas to Frank Garland McRimmon and Ada Ferol Beauchamp. He worked at Raytheon as an aircraft electrician. He was a member of First Assembly of God and the Masonic Lodge of Grandbury #392.
He is survived by his daughters, Kim Bench and husband, Leo of Royse City and Judith Watkins and husband, Kevin of Red Oak, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Cleveland Wisdom, Colton Wise, Taylor Wise and Nancy Sandoval; three great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, infant son, Eddie McRimmon, daughter, Linda Jean Lisi, granddaughter, Trina Forrester.
Pallbearers will be Taylor Wise, Colton Wise, Ernie Sellers, Chris Bowen, Glynn Neel and Presley Sellers.
