Charles Dan Weatherly, 85 of Greenville, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at his residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M., Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Dennis Hogan officiating. Burial will be in Hooker Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. until service time.
Mr. Weatherly was born September 4, 1932 in Royse City, Texas to Richard Gay Weatherly and Ida Mae Hood. He married Wilma Jean Weatherford in Greenville, Texas on January 9, 1951. He was a welder for ESCO and a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Drummond of Lone Oak; brother, Joe Weatherly and wife, Peggie; sister, Shirley Yarbro; grandchildren, Dustin D. Drummond of Lone Oak, Donny Lynn Drummond of Lone Oak, Stephanie Cox of Bowie; great-grandchildren, Destin and Dominick Drummond, Cayden, Caige, Chance and Cecilianna Cox.
He was preceded in death by his wife and daughter, Cindy Qualls, son, T. C. Weatherly, parents, brothers, R.G. Weatherly and Bud Weatherly.
