Della Mae Goin Smith, 96 passed away on June 2, 2018 in McKinney, Texas. Born in Wolfe City, Texas on July 25, 1921 to parents Hoyt and Ethel Merrell. In 1939, she married Glen Goin of Honey Grove, Texas in Greenville, Texas where their three children were born and raised. Many years after Glen’s death in 1973, she married Ed Smith and resided in Dallas until Ed’s death. She will be missed by her children, Carl and wife Luanne Goin, Charles Goin and Glendell Goin; grandchildren, Terry Graham and wife Sheryl, Sherry Reagor and husband Matthew, Shelley Slayton and fiancé Rip Upshaw, Gregory Goin and wife Lisa, Allen Goin and wife Patti, Larry Goin and wife Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Taylor Graham, Tyler Graham, Tara Graham, Nicholas Reagor, Austin Goin, Connor Goin, Grant Goin, Kayla Goin, Gabe Stayton, Jacob Stayton, Rhett Duvall, Olivia Goin and Lauren Goin. A private family viewing will be held at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 10:00 AM until her graveside service at 11:00 AM at Memoryland Memorial Park in Greenville, Texas.
