Johnny Dale Weatherly, 69, of Garland, passed away on August 6, 2018 in Garland. A memorial service will be held 2 P.M., Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel in Greenville. Visitation will be from 1 P.M. until service time. Burial will be in Lynch Cemetery in Point, Texas.
Mr. Weatherly was born March 6, 1949 in Greenville, Texas to Richard Gay Weatherly, Jr. and Kathrine Odell Moss. He married Leann Cox on August 23, 1986 in Dallas, Texas. He retired as an insurance auditor and was a member of the Shelby Cobra Association of Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Leann Weatherly; daughter, Lori Weatherly; daughter-in-law, Sheri Litchford; son, Kevin Weatherly; step-son, Zach Middleton; sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and David Dillon; grandson, Kerry Pewitt and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Shelby Cobra Association of Texas, Kerry Pewitt, Zach Middleton, Richard Hogue and James Northcutt.
