John Christopher Dalton, 39, of Celeste died Tuesday. His funeral service will be 3:00 PM, Sunday at Kingston Baptist Church under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Shawn Stubblefield officiating. Visitation will be 2:00 PM until service time, Sunday at the church.
John was born in Dallas, Texas on June 11, 1979. He is the son of Dan Dalton and Denise Wright Dalton. He was a carpenter and member of Kingston Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Dan and Denise Dalton of Celeste; son, John Dalton, Jr.; grandmother, Barbara Dalton of Adair, Oklahoma; brothers, Dan Bob Dalton, Jr. and James Michael Dalton, both of Celeste; sister Karen Dalton of Celeste; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Dan Bob Dalton, Jr., James Dalton, Charles Thompson, Trevor Trentham, Brian Brown and Reggie Raye.
He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jerry Dalton and Irby Wright and grandmother, Marian Wright.
