Mike Hardin, 78, of Waxahachie, passed away on October 4, 2018 in Greenville. Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Monday, October 8, 2018 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Ratliff officiating. Visitation will be 1 P.M. until service time.
Mr. Hardin was born in Josephine, Texas on April 8, 1940 to James Hardin and Katherine Perry. He was married to Gloria Jane Stephenson. He worked as a truck driver and was a member of First Baptist Church of Caddo Mills.
He is survived by his son, Todd Hardin of Caddo Mills; daughter, Holly Wakefield and husband, Brian of Waxahachie; brothers, Jim Hardin of Denver and Frank Yates of Denver; sister, Mary Davis and husband, Brant of Denver’ grandchildren, Alyssa Hardin, Avery Hardin, Chase Wakefield, Colby Wakefield and Lindsey Wakefield.
He is preceded in death by his wife and parents.
