Wanda N. Derby, 84, of Van Alstyne, passed away on December 14, 2018 at Wilson & Jones Medical Center in Sherman, Texas. A private memorial service is schedule.
Wanda was born on March 21, 1934 in Abilene, Texas to Auda Newton and Neva Dell Box Newton. Wanda married Robert Glenn Derby on September 27, 1952 in Holley, Texas. She was a retired secretary and a member of Kingston Baptist Church.
Wanda is survived by her children Auda Derby and wife Charlotte of Celeste, Ronald Derby & wife Jeanne of San Antonio, Texas, Susan Winters & husband Jeff of Sherman, Texas, brother Jerry Newton of Burnett, Texas, grandchildren Katrina Derby Taylor and husband Jeff, Robert Derby, Robert Winters & wife Summer, Brittany Derby Black & husband Jimmy and 4 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband and parents.
