Ann Mitchell
Ann Mitchell, 73 of Celeste, went home to be with her sweet Jesus on February 23, 2019.
She was raised in Texarkana, Arkansas by her parents Leslie Jay Farrar and Julia Catherine Cardin Farrar.
Mrs. Mitchell graduated from University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science degree. She received her Master’s Degree in education from Texas A & M University in Commerce, Texas.
Mrs. Mitchell also attended Texas Women’s University in Denton, Texas. She taught school for twenty-nine years in Dallas and Greenville. Her passion was teaching children how to read.
Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her two sons, Jeff Hansell and wife Shelley of Rockwall and James Hansell and wife Dominika of Cedar Park; five grandchildren, Kristofer, Kasia, Lacey, Allie and Jacklyn; two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Cooper; and her puppy Jax.
A memorial service will be Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Kingston Baptist Church with Rev. Shawn Stubblefield and Rev. Ronnie Hickey officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until service time.
