Nita Faye Martin Whittington, 91, born July 26, 1927 and passed away on February 25, 2019.
Nita is survived by her children Deborah Long and husband, Charles, Donna Garnaas, James Whittington and wife, Tara. Her grandchildren, Jadona Chapman, Monya Keatts, Larry Sales, II, Drew and Colin Long, Holli Myers, Jeremy Raines, James Whittington, Jr., Lauren Thomas, Shane Whittington, Cody Whittington, Dalton Campbell and Carly Campbell; 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Gone before her were parents, Luther and Mary Martin; husband, Frank Whittington; sister, Saleta Patrick and niece Juanita Willis.
Visitation will be at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2019. There will be a graveside service at Wieland Cemetery on Sunday, March 3rd at 2:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Larry Sale, II, James Whittington, Jeremy Raines, Shane Whittington, Cody Whittington, Gary Beason and Gary Aycock.
