Isabel “Nick” Gonzales, 89, of Greenville, passed away May 17, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Deacon Lee Davis officiating. A rosary and visitation will be held on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Nick was born on November 5, 1929 in Greenville, Texas to Donanciano and Guadalupe Torrez Gonzales. He married Ramona Garcia on August 23, 1952 in Dallas, Texas. He worked for the Kansas City Southern Railroad.
Nick is survived by his wife, Ramona Garcia Gonzales; children, Robert, John, Joe, Gabriel, Delores, Mary, Connie, Victoria; brothers, E. B. Gonzales; sister, Mary, Sandra, Mildred; grandchildren, Robert, Ruben, Mario, Faustino, Trina, Robyn, Jon Jon, Edward, Justin, Gilberto, Marina, Raymondo, Carla, Gabriel, Jr., Brandon, Thomas, Ashley and 12 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Marcella, Pauline, Juanita, Manuela, Francisca and brother, Remingio.
