Boyd Lynn Evans
Boyd Lynn Evans, 82, of Greenville, died Thursday, June 6, 2019. His funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Fawcett officiating. Interment will be in Quinlan IOOF Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 Noon until service time Sunday.
Mr. Evans was born April 23, 1937 in Hunt County, Texas. He was the son of Cecil Buel Evans and Vada Strickland Evans. He married Linda McMahan on July 25, 1969 in Greenville. He was a member of Park Street Baptist Church and a retired truck driver and security guard.
Survivors include his brother, C. B. Evans; sister, Winnie Porter and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Linda Evans and sister Tommie Shepherd.
Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Bunton, Aaron Bunton, Cory Lederman, Chad Lederman, Jeremy McMinn and Daniel Nicholson.
