Verna Moseley, 88, of Greenville, died in Greencrest Manor Nusring Home, Friday, August 22, 2008. Funeral services will be Sunday, August 24, 2008, at 3:00 PM, at Park Street Baptist Church with Dr. Marvin Mosley officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Mrs. Moseley was born in Emory, Texas on March 30, 1920, the daughter of Clifford and Lucy Treadwell Hogue. She married Harvey Moseley in 1945 in Greenville and was a homemaker. She was a member of Park Street Baptist Church where she formerly served as a Sunday School and Vacation Bible School teacher. She was a former president of the PTA and held life membership in the PTA.
Mrs. Moseley is survived by her son, Ricky Moseley of Greenville; grandson, Mark Moseley of Greenville; sisters, Mildred Mayo of Farmersville, Robbie Dodd of Greenville, and Bernice Senter of Greenville. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Pallbearers will be Shane Sentor, Donny Mason, Johnnie Pryor and Scott Corley.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 21, 2008, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
