David Michael Smith,58 passed away August 26, 2019 in Lone Oak, Texas. A funeral service is scheduled for Friday August 30, 2019 at 2:30 PM in the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Cook officiating, Burial will follow in Hooker Ridge Cemetery in Rains County.
Mr. Smith was born on January 24, 1961 in Greenville, Texas to Dorothy Gillham Smith and Roy Smith. He graduated from Lone Oak High School in 1979. Mr. Smith was a farmer and rancher and loved what he did. He lived his entire life in Lone Oak. He was a hard worker and loving and caring father.
Mr. Smith is survived by sons Keaton Smith of Lone Oak and Kevin Smith of Roswell, New Mexico, Sisters Cathy Bowman and Paula Smith.
Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his parents.
