Faye Dudley Brooks, 82, of Dallas, passed away on September 13, 2019 surrounded by her family at her residence. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. at Miller Grove Cemetery with Bro. Wayne Darty officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, at 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Faye was born April 11, 1937 in Pecos, Texas to Samuel Washington Dudley and Lillian Holler Bryan. She was an artist and loved to paint and sculpt.
She is survived by her son, Joe Rushing and wife, Karen; sister, Sue Elliott; granddaughter, Lindsey Gayle Hofstetter and husband, Danny; and great-granddaughter, Penny Lynne Hofstetter.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Sam W. Dudley.
