Billy JamesReisor

Rev. Billy James Reisor, age 80, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 27, 2008.  Graveside services are scheduled at 10:00 AM Saturday at Webb Hill Cemetery under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Royce Litchfield and Rev. James Seigler officiating.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.

Rev. Reisor was born at White Rock on February 20, 1928, son of Bertran E. and Nettie Woodard Reisor.  On June 6, 1947, he married Nita Lowry in Greenville.  He served in the United States Army.  Rev. Reisor pastored Kingston Baptist Church of Kingston, First Baptist Church of Celeste, First Baptist Church of Malakoff, First Baptist Church of Huntington, First Baptist Church of Whitehouse, and North Baptist Church of Greenville. He was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church.

His survivors include his wife of Greenville; sons Gary James Reisor and wife Nancy of Crowley and Gregory Bill Reisor and wife Patti of Wheaton, Illinois; daughter Erika Lynne Nguyen and husband Thanh of Round Lake Beach, Illinois; sisters Loveta Adams of Wolfe City, Jo Weldon and Geraldine Reisor of Greenville; brother Elvis Reisor of Van; 9 grandchildren Christopher Reisor, Amanda Reisor, Katie Reisor, Hannah Reisor, Jonathan Nguyen, Joanna Nguyen, Joshua Nguyen, Jackie Nguyen and Jennifer Nguyen; 1 great-grandchild Caden James Reisor; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Bert, Clarence, Johnnie and Bertis; and a sister, Ivy Prince.

Pallbearers will be Ray Herndon, Nathan Herndon, Royce Sumrow, and Paul Sturdevant.
