Travis L. Hunt, 82, of Tyler, passed away on November 27, 2019 at his residence. A private burial is scheduled under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home in Greenville, Texas. A family visitation will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Shiloh Road Church of Christ in Tyler.
Mr. Hunt was born in Rains County, Texas on September 2, 1937 to Travis “Jack” Hunt and Opal Beasley. He married Betty A. Bostick on June 6, 1959 in Greenville, Texas. He retired from Brookshire Grocery Company and was a member of Shiloh Road Church of Christ in Tyler.
He is survived by his wife, Betty A. Hunt of Tyler; son, David Hunt and wife, Angie; daughter, Andrea Booth and husband, Randy; grandchildren, Sydney Booth, Nicholas Booth, Jonah Hunt and Austin Hunt.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, J R Hunt and sister, Melba Fritz.
