John Garcia 59, of Greenville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 23, 2020. Born July 5, 1960 in Dallas, Texas. John was the son of Gonzalo Garcia and Trinidad Belia Garcia. He was married to Norma Angelica Garcia. John was a man of God with a heart of gold, he loved the Lord, his family and friends. He was loved by many, as he could make friends with anyone with his sense of humor and charm. John was a great father, so loving and nurturing and always saw every situation with a positive attitude. He loved the outdoors, going fishing and especially loved being a great witness for God in spreading the teachings of Jesus. He would pray with and for anyone. He had a servant-heart and wanted to help anyone he could.

 John understood well when Jesus said “I am the resurrection and life, He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; whoever lives and believes in me will never die.” John 11:25-26.

John will be greatly missed, and our lives will never be the same, but one assurance we have is that we will see him again because of his faith in Christ. And as he would testify and say to everyone “If you too believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. And believe he died and rose again. You too will be saved.”

John is survived by his wife Norma Angelica Garcia, daughter Ashley Garcia and her partner, Andrew R Hall, stepdaughters Alejandra, Sandra, Angelica and his grandchildren, Grandson, Bryden Nehemiah Jackson, Parents Gonzalo and Trine Garcia, sibling’s, Jr Garcia, Joe Garcia, Richard Garcia, Teresa De La O and Sandra Cerda. Sister in law, Rosario Garcia and brothers in law, Antonio Cerda and Alfonzo De La O. Many loved nieces and nephews as he would call them his “mijas and mijos” and his Mema, Diana Glassock. His pet grand babies Ace and Macy.

He was preceded in death by His Son John Adam Garcia

"En tu mano están mis tiempos;
Salmos 31:15
My times are in thy hand:
Psalm 31:15
My brother passing was very very unexpected. Death is hard for all of us, unexpected or expected but because we know that God is in control of all things and His timing is perfect, we rejoice and can be at peace. 🥰"
