"Dear Family,
I was a classmate of Betty's in Greenville and remember her fondly. She was always nice and had a beautiful smile. I regret that we lost connection all these years. She must have been a very genuine and giving person. I am so sorry for your loss.

"My family would like to express our love for this family. I never had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Jenkins but her daughter Julie is a dear friend of mine. Julie has a heart of gold which she has always said came from her mother. I wish I could have met the person that Julie held so close to her heart. She always told me that her mother was the strongest and the most caring person in the world. May God bless you all and remember she is still with you in heart."
