Martha Mize, 86, passed away on December 30, 2020 in Scroggins, Texas surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services are Saturday, January 2, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Greg Haynes and Rick Henager officiating, burial will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until service time Saturday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Martha was born on August 22, 1934 in Caddo Mills, Texas to William Henry Williams and Nancy Boyce. Martha married Donald C. Mize on September 25, 1954 in Garland, Texas. Martha worked for FEC Electric from 1979 to 2001, prior to that she worked for Manley gas. Martha was a member of Paradise Baptist Church in Caddo Mills.
Martha is survived by sons Keith Mize and wife Lori of Campbell, Michael Mize of Fort Worth, daughters Beth Sumrow of Scroggins, Staci Bragg & husband Greg of Caddo Mills, and Cynthia Allen & husband Wesley of Scroggins, sisters Linda Brennan, Vicki Riley & husband Frank and Kathy Lewis, grandchildren Nikki Foster, Chasity & David Johnson, Wendell & Markie Allen, Michael Mize, Brandi Mize, Katherine Mize, Corey & Loni Bragg, Julia Sumrow, Jessica Sumrow, Jeremy Sumrow, 25 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and sister Wilma Jarrod.
