Dana Dawson, 55, beloved daughter, sister and aunt passed away on Wed, Feb 17, 2021 at Hunt Regional Hospital in Greenville
She was born on Nov 16, 1965, with a severe birth defect. She fought through 33 major surgeries and went on to lead a great life that doctors never imagined.
She is survived by her parents, Roy and Linda Dawson, brother, Daren Dawson, and wife Veta. Her favorite people were her nephew, Caleb Dawson, niece, Kaylee Parise, husband Jason Parise and great niece, Ellington Parise and nephew, Kaden Dawson, wife Kati Dawson and great nephew, Huxton Dawson.
Dana wanted to be cremated and her ashes spread at the farm where she resided. The family will have a Celebration of Life soon.
In lieu of flowers she ask that donations be made to Campbell Volunteer Fire Department.
Arrangements are under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
