On December 11th at 7:40am, David Michael Boyer, loving Husband, Father, Papa and Friend, finally won his long and hard-fought battle with cancer. He knew, and we know, that his ultimate victory and healing would come when he stepped from time, into eternity. He crossed over peacefully, surrounded by his family at his side, at his home in Greenville, Texas.

David will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 years, Lola; Children: Robert, Steve, Megan, and Jonathan; Grandchildren: Kayla, Pam, Bret, Domanic, Bryan, and Jason; Great-grandchildren: Austin, Elena, and Mason; And His siblings: (Sister) Margret-Ann and her husband Don, (Sister) Katheene, (Brother) Greg and his wife Shirley, and numerous other family members and friends.

While we will miss him terribly, we celebrate his reunion with his mother, Myrtle Faye Boyer (May, 1932 – August, 2018), and his father, Beauford Marion Boyer (May, 1928 – September, 2005)

Family and friends will gather for a memorial focused on celebrating David’s life.

The service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday March 27th, 2021 at the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel in Greenville, TX. The address is:

"I’m going to miss David calling me “boy”. It didn’t matter that I was in my 30’s the last time I was able to see him, he still called me boy. David was an amazing man and outstanding uncle. From the Berry family, we love you."

"I miss David so much. We didn't have to see or talk to each other often. It was just a given that we knew our love for family was strong. He was a sweet and quiet little boy and a loving brother. I am blessed to have had him in my life."
