Sue Jean Kennedy, 85, of Greenville, Texas, passed away on March 27, 2021 at the Hunt Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service at the funeral home.
Sue was born June 2, 1935 in Cumby, Texas to Jimmy Lester and Mae Boatman McFarlin. She married Allen Lee Kennedy on August 25, 1951 in Greenville, Texas. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Sue is survived by her daughters, Carol Miller and husband, Kenneth, Sheryl Johnson; sisters, Betty Isham, Theta Jones; grandchildren, Ken Miller & wife, Jody, Kim Miller and Emilee, Josh Johnson, Breanna Johnson & fiancé, Angel Barcenas; great-grandchildren, Kody and Racheal, Colton and Elizabeth, T. J. Miller, Nikahla Miller; great-great-grandchildren, Maddison Miller, Jameson Miller, baby Jackson due soon, Isaiah and Elliott Barcenas and Noah Edge.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother, Joyd McFarlin.
