Teresa Defene Puroff, 62, of Garland, died on Aug. 14, 2021 in Richardson.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel in Greenville, Texas with Rev. Glenn Cook officiating. Interment will be in Hart Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20, 2021 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Puroff was born Feb. 19, 1959, in Greenville, Texas to Thomas Cook and June Defene Mauldin. She married John Puroff on May 28, 2005 in Dallas. Texas. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband, John Puroff of Garland; children, Angela Baca of New Mexico, Cristina Brame of Garland, Christa Ramsey of Houston and Josh Ramsey of Kansas; stepdaughter, Jessica Carrion of Florida; brother, Mickey Cook; cousins, Rachel Mattingly and Nathan Mattingly; grandchildren, George Ramsey, Mikaela Baca, Gage Baca, Chloe Carrion, Noah Boaen and Avery Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, Lane Cook and cousin, Kelly Mattingly.
Pallbearers will be Trip Gordon, Chris Puroff, Nathan Mattingly, Johnny Lewis, James Lewis, Mike Mauldin and Tim Bryant.
