Stephen Michael “Mike” Dial, 77, of Mesquite passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at his residence. A Graveside service will be Wednesday, August 25, 2021, 10:30 AM at Quinlan IOOF Cemetery with Jorden Dial officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Mike was born on June 14, 1944 to James Roscoe Dial and Bertie Killman Dial in Greenville, Texas. Mike was a graduate from Greenville High School. He married the love of his life Patricia Ann Whitson on May 25, 1998 in Rockwall, Texas. Mike was involved in commercial real estate, a trade that he passionately loved.
Mike is survived by sons Daryl Dial & wife Leslie, Byron Edgmon & wife Laura, Kevin Edgmon, daughters Deanna Dial-Dowdy & husband James, Danica Lappin & husband Raymond, grandchildren Jorden Dial & wife Whitney, Kailee Simmons, Lynsey Simmons, Ryan Hindman & husband Jim, Carly Abramson, Eve Dial, Tyler Dial, Dane Dial, Levi Dial, Sydney Edgmon, Devon Edgmon, Alex Edgmon, Emily Edgmon, Ellis Edgmon and great grandchildren Emerie and Rowen Dial.
Mike is preceded in death by his wife Patricia, son David Dial, parents and his 8 siblings.
Pallbearers will be Daryl Dial, Jorden Dial, Dane Dial, Tyler Dial, Levi Dial, Byron Edgmon and Kevin Edgmon.
