John Michael Dodson Clark, 41, of Greenville, Texas moved on to new hunting grounds on August 28, 2021. He was in Chico, Texas prepping the deer lease, hanging out with friends and excited about the upcoming deer season. Funeral services will be 2:30 P.M., Friday, September 3, 2021, at Vansickle Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Davis officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. until service time at the church. Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery in Leonard, Texas. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

John Michael was born on December 15, 1979, to John Clark and Janie Clark (Nancy Jane Dodson) in Greenville, Texas. He grew up in Greenville and spent his childhood running around his parent's motorcycle business (Clark's Wheeled Sports). He was saved at the age of 8.

He married his dream life partner Micca Sheedy on September 18, 2015. John Michael would often post pictures of Micca at the camper or on the back patio of their house and talk about how much he loved their time together outside just talking and planning their future together.

He owned his own plumbing company (Allstar Professional Plumbers) and specialized in providing services to Park Cities homeowners, as well as commercial clients.

John Michael was an exceptional cook and loved smoking the perfect brisket and pork shoulder, boudain and sausage for friends and family, as well as creating the perfect spice combinations.

He anxiously awaited hunting season and loved being in the outdoors with his best buddies and kids and teaching his children to hunt. John Michael was tenacious about teaching his children to be brave, capable and independent.

He also loved bow hunting, Alice In Chains, motorcycles, Rage Against the Machine, jerky, Wu-Tang Clan, Red Stag and the perfect taco.

We will desperately miss hanging out with him at the house he designed and built with help from some of his most treasured friends - all of us together on the back patio with a big fire, a beverage, a cool breeze, night sounds and a forest view.

He is survived by his wife, Micca Sheedy Clark; incredibly beloved children Jayce Clark, Cayden Clark, Emeri Clark, Trace Watson and Sladdon Sheedy; father and mother John and Janie Clark; sister Deneen Clark; cousins Liza Dodson, Mark Dodson, David Dodson, Carolyn Clark, Colleen Clark, Carla Hanson, Anne Burkett and Anne Whitten (as well as their children). He is also survived by and treasured a big extended family including Johnny and Eva Froneberger, Ashley Sheedy, Avery Humphrey, Addison Humphrey; Mike and Kay Sheedy; Brittany Sheedy; and Beverly and Keith McCord.

John Michael is also survived by countless friends that he loved and cherished.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Dave and Dixie Dodson of Mineral Wells, Texas and Elmer and Sudie Clark of Leonard, Texas.
