Loretta June Woodson, 85, of Savoy (formerly of Greenville) passed away February 28, 2022 at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, in the chapel of Coker-Mathews
Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. James Seigler officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be at 1:00 PM Friday until service time.
Born July 26, 1937 in Bailey, Texas, Loretta was the daughter of Pleasant Richard Woodson and Bertha (Scarborough) Woodson. She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sister, Lartharee Woodson McCannon and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Ollie Woodson, Mattie Elmore, Deloise Maxine, Bertha Marie, Martha Lou, and brothers, P. R. Woodson, Scarborough Woodson, James Woodson and Larry Joe Woodson.
Pallbearers will be Richard Elmore, Adam Elmore, Keith Wardlow, Ronnie Cole, Nathan Pruitt and Alexander Walsh.
