Brenda Kaye Mize, 72, of Wills Point, passed away on September 1, 2022, at her home. A graveside service will be Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Caddo Mills IOOF Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Brenda was born May 30, 1950, in Honey Grove, Texas, to Leslie Underwood and Laura Sewell. She married Roger Mize on May 12, 1984, in Rockwall, Texas. Brenda retired from L-3 Communications after 24 years as an Airplane Mechanic. Brenda was the youngest of 8 siblings.
She is survived by her son, Christopher DeWeese; daughter, Angela Mahaney; sister, Pat Hankins; grandchildren, Aleana Hiser, Nolan Hiser, Taylor Hiser, Sierra Mahaney, and Halie Mahaney; and one great-grandchild Jaxon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers, and four sisters.
