Harry Lee Gibson, 60, of Greenville, passed away December 19, 2022, at the Hunt Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Ridgecrest Baptist Church with Rev. Donny Forson and Rev. Joel Bench officiating. Burial will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
Harry was born February 20, 1962, in Greenville, Texas to Kenneth W. and Julia Ann Herlocker Gibson. He married Julie Mathews on May 8, 1999, in Greenville, Texas.
To know Harry was to love him. He never met a stranger. If you spent time with him at all, you left with the feeling you were the most important person in the world. His stories, his laughter and his mischief will be sorely missed. Heaven has become a little funnier now with him and his dad there to keep everyone on their toes. I love you, sweetheart and will look for you first.
Harry is survived by his wife, Julie Gibson; mother, Julia Gibson; son, Clay Gibson; daughters, Natalie Gibson, Laura Gibson; brother, Kenneth Gibson, Jr. and wife, Kim; beloved aunts, cousins; and a host of lifelong friends that he truly loved.
He is preceded in death by his father and grandmother, Doyle “Granny” Herlocker.
Pallbearers will be Clay Gibson, Kento Gibson, Rick Gibson, Kelly Feezel, Randy Hooten, James Walters, Donny Forson and Ryan Forson.
Memorials may be made to the Ridgecrest Baptist Church, 6801 Wesley St., Greenville, Texas.
