Billie Louise Summerlin, 104, of Greenville, Texas, passed away on March 12, 2023 at Briarcliff Health Center. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Mr. Jerry Bench officiating. Burial will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Billie was born July 18, 1918, in Floyd, Texas to Rayford and Myrtle Turner Bench. She married Tommy Summerlin on May 3, 1952, in Greenville, Texas. She worked as a secretary and was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church.
Billie is survived by her granddaughters, Stephanie Lamm and husband, Mark, Staci Prier and husband, Cliff; great-grandchildren, Maisie Lamm, Cade Prier, Brendan Prier and special friend Dorothy Williams.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant daughters, Nelda and Nancy; daughter, Sue Shanks and sisters, Peggy Gilbert and Glenda McDonald.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Bench, Jerry Coats, Amos Lowry, Mike Warren, Bill Dennis and Ray Wallen.
