Katy Roberts Cathey, 98, of Greenville, Texas, passed away on March 15, 2024, in Greenville. A graveside service will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. until service time at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cathey was born on December 4, 1925, in Quinlan, Texas to John M. Roberts and Lillie Nee White. She married Hiram W. Cathey on July 20, 1946. She was a homemaker and was of the Church of Christ faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Woodridge; and sister, Ollie Murray.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1998, her parents, brothers: J.O Roberts and Bill Roberts, sisters: Johnnie Ruth Roberts, Opal Ray, Era Williams, Maud Smith and Dorothy York.
