To know him, was to love him. He truly was a once in a lifetime man that was a stubborn force to be reckoned with. The word quit was never in his vocabulary, and he never met a challenge that he couldn’t throw some tools at. The many years of hard work at not only his job, but doing countless hours of helping out anyone in need showed in his rough and callused hands was true testament to his soft heart, a heart made of pure gold. He had many things that he liked to do such as hunt, fish, go camping, and take things apart and cuss while putting it back together. While all of those things he liked to do, his love, his greatest passion was his family. His love and devotion to his family was truly unmatched. Words cannot express the depths of our sadness that has come with this tremendous loss. To the man who was truly a one of a kind you will be greatly missed. You are so loved and we have all truly been blessed to have had even the briefest moment with you. Our hearts will always hold you, we love you. – The Balentine Family
