Harold M. Phillips, 92, of Greenville, died Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at Park Haven Nursing Center in Greenville. No services are scheduled.
Mr. Phillips was born in Floyd, Texas, Julyl 27, 1916, the son of Chester L. Phillips, Sr. and Lucia D. Taggart Phillips. On May 2, 1938, he married Lois Ann Pirkle in Greenville. He was in the loan business and a Methodist.
He is survived by his daughters, Lucia Lee Howard and husband Jack of Greenville, and Judith Ann Archibald and husband Terry of Beaumont; grandchildren, PLhillip archibald of Evert, Washington, Tony Archibald of Beaumont, Clark McKnight of Burbank, California and Lois Parker of Wichita Falls; great-grandchildren, Tony Ross Archibald, Eric Archibald, Lucia Beth Hardaway, Terri Lee Archibald, Eva Archibald and Shane Lily McKnight. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Ann Phillips on October 29, 2007; his parents; and two brothers, Chester L. Phillips, Jr. and Howard Phillips.
