Charlotte Beasley McGaughy, 77, of Celeste, passed away on November 4, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Sherwin and Mr. Kevin McGaughy officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. until service time. Interment will be in Celeste Cemetery.
Charlotte was born January 1, 1947, in Birmingham, Alabama to William Beasley and Vivian McCurry. She worked at Hunt Regional Medical Center in the kitchen for many years where she also retired from.
She is survived by two sons, David McGaughy and wife, Cindy, Donald McGaughy and wife, Cindy, three daughters Debra Jones and husband, David, Donna Harris, Dorris Estrada, brothers, Jimmy Beasley and wife, Virginia, Randy Beasley, Gerald Beasley and wife Kelly, sisters, Malinda Harris, Vanessa Johnson, Theresa Rodgers and husband, Rick, many grandchildren including neighborhood children, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren along with many others who love her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Vivian Beasley, brother William Beasley Jr., sisters, Margaret Stafford, Loraine Rollins and granddaughter Echo Michelle Dorsey.
Pallbearers will be Mason McGaughy, Josh Stone, Trevon Moore, Donald McGaughy Jr.; Geoffrey Sanders, and CJ Estrada.
A potluck will be held after the graveside, for those that would like to bring a dish, please contact her children.
