Mitchal L. Vaughn, 77, of Sulphur Springs, passed away on June 1, 2025, in Sulphur Springs, Texas. A memorial service will be planned in the near future. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Vaughn was born on October 30, 1947, in Hemet, California. He was born to Clarence Eugene Vaughn and Wanda Louise Goforth. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a therapy counselor and in trucking. He also enjoyed working as a handyman.
He is survived by his daughter, Christina Pullen; sons, Mark Clifton Kodak; David Gregory Vaughn; sister, and Debra J Vaughn; sister-in-law, Jane Frances Vaughn; grandchildren, Soren Kodak, Raven Kodak, Sedric Kodak, Zoe Kodak, Ashton Vaughn, Aubrey Qualley, Grace Vaughn, Paisley Vaughn, Christian Vaughn, Skylee A. Pullen, Daniel Pullen, Cheyenne Pullen and Jaylynn; nieces, Gaylein Ford and Krystal Anderson; nephews, Steven Metzger, Jr.; great-nephew, Andrew Talbert; and his best friends Michael and Kelly Mercadel.
He was preceded in death by his son, Eric William Kodak; parents; and half brother, Robert J. Vaughn.
