Dana Anson Bishop, Age 52, passed away on April 27, 2009, in Garland. Services will be held at 2:30 PM Thursday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Ralson officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:30 Thursday until service time.
Dana was born on June 16, 1956 in Dallas, Texas to Don Ray and Ann Clark Bishop. He was a draftsman and was a member of the Axe Methodist Church in Garland.
His survivors include his mother, Ann (Clark) Holding of Garland; uncle and aunt Clifford C. and Rachel Clark of Celeste; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father and aunt & uncle Cal and Walt Wester.
Pallbearers will be Collin Clark, Cody Clark, Johnny Myers, Dick Saye, Rodney Redd, and James Fielden.
The family request memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
