Leonard Eugene Earley, 89, of Greenville passed away on April 27, 2009 at his residence.
Mr. Early was born June 7, l9l9 in Deport,Texas to Luther Ferdinand and Nannie Lou Vaughn Earley. His first wife, Helen, preceded him in death and on October ll, l975, he married Dorothy Wardine(Deanie) Dutton in Greenville. She preceded him in death in 2006. Mr. Earley retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Lt. Colonel and served during World War II.
His survivors include a great-nephew Jeff Jackson of Rowlett, longtime friend and caretaker Rita Stewart and numerous friends around the world.
He was also preceded in death by a sister Martha Bigger along with many other family members.
