Joanna was born on April 15, 1979, in Greenville, Texas, at 6:42 a.m. to Jon Charles White and Susie Clem White. She was a 1997 graduate of Bland High School and went on to graduate from Texas A&M University-Commerce with her bachelor’s degree.

Joanna dedicated her adult life to serving her community and the people she loved. Early in her career, she shaped young minds as an Agricultural Teacher, a role her students would proudly say made her “the greatest of all time.” Her passion for agriculture, education, and helping others became the foundation for the many lives she would go on to impact.

Around that same time, the idea of a career in real estate began to take shape while Joanna was selling the first home she had built. As she listened to the Realtor talk about her career, something clicked. Joanna already had a background in agriculture, an understanding of construction from her college coursework, and, most importantly, a natural ability to connect with people. She knew she had found her calling.

Joanna poured her heart into her work and went above and beyond for every client she served. To her, real estate was never just about buying or selling a home, it was about the people, the relationships, and helping families reach their dreams. Her genuine heart, determination, and willingness to always do more for others made her deeply loved and respected throughout her community.

Above all else, Joanna loved her family. She was a loving mother, devoted partner, and the greatest Nonni. Her family was her greatest joy, and the love she shared with them will continue to live on through every memory, lesson, and moment she gave them.

Joanna is survived by her daughter, Hailey Alexander, and husband Donovan of Quinlan; daughter, Abby Rae Arnwine of Quinlan; fiancée, Jerremy Johnson of Quinlan; and Kenlee Johnson of Lone Oak; parents, Jon and Susie White of Greenville; sister, Amy White of Waco; brother, David White and wife Alicia of Caddo Mills; grandchildren, Ace and Ares Alexander; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Neil C. and Winnie F. White and Fred C. Clem and Verona H. Clem.

Pallbearers will be Jerremy Johnson, Donovan Alexander, David White, Jason White, Kendal Wright, and Phil White.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jon C. White, Robert E. White, and Jeff Arnwine.

Joanna leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, generosity, and service. She touched countless lives through her work, her friendships, and most of all, through the love she gave her family. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.

"My heart goes out to the family and loved ones of Joanna White. Joanna and I went to Travis Elementary together, and I still remember her coming to my 8th birthday party.

She was such a funny, athletic, and genuinely good person. I remember how smart she was too. She made straight A’s, could spell just about anything, and I’ll never forget her helping me with my times tables when we were kids.

It’s amazing the little things you remember about someone after so many years. I’m thankful that some of my childhood memories include Joanna. She was a good person, and I’m truly saddened to hear of her passing.

Rest in peace, Joanna. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and everyone who loved her."

"My deepest condolences to Joanna's family. Last night, when I got on fb, I was shocked to find out that Joanna's funeral was yesterday. I had no idea she was sick. When my husband and I moved here with our children back in 2009, Joanna patiently helped find the right house for us. Since then, more than once, we have said, if we ever want to buy a house again, we'll probably call Joanna. She was friendly, honest, professional, and caring. Praying that God will give grace and strength to the family through this very difficult time."
