Ruby Estelle Bowen Fox, 86, of Richardson passed away on April 29, 2009 at Richardson Regional Hospital. Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 2nd at Coker-Mathwes Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Ralson officiating. Interment will follow at Prairie Valley Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:30 PM on Saturday until service time.
Mrs. Fox as born on January 28, 1923 in Hunt County, Texas to Walker and Janie Almon Bowen. In 1940, she married Thomas Jobe Fox in Greenville. She dedicated her life to caring for her sons and husband, working as a seamstress in a factory by day and working at home to care for her family. She was a Baptist.
Her survivors include her son Donnie Fox and wife, Tricia of Richardson; brother James Bowen of Greenville; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter Patsy Jane Fox; son Thomas James Fox; sister Bessie Kuhn and brother Clyde Bowen.
