Roger Mac Timberlake, 6l, of Greenville died in the early morning hours of May 4, 2009 at Hunt Regional Medical Center. A memorial service is scheduled at 7 p.m., Thursday, May 7th at Salem- Kinser United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Shaddox officiating. Burial will be in McWright Cemetery.
Son of Alton and Pansey Juanita McCasland Timberlake, he was born March 20, l948, in Greenville. On September 5, l969, he married Margaret Kirkpatrick in Greenville. Mr. Timberlake was a contractor and was a member of Salem-Kinser United Methodist Church. He volunteered with the Cub and Boy Scounts of America.
Surviving are his wife of Greenville, a son, Matthew Timberlake and wife Amy of Euless, granddaughter Mattilynn Timberlake of Euless, a daughter, Amy D. Timberlake of Greenville, his father of Greenville, an uncle, Rufus McCasland of Commerce, mother-in-law Dottie Kirkpatrick of Celeste, brother-and sister-in-law Jerry and Joanna Dunn of Celeste, two nieces, Jessica Grinstead and husband Steven and daughter Emma of Garland and Shelly Dunn and finance' Rusty Nunnelee of McKinney, sister-in-law Sandra Timberlake of Greenville and a nephew, Alan Timberlake and wife Barbara and son Aric of Greenville.
His mother and a brother, Alton M. Timberlake,Jr. preceded him in death.
