Ricky D. Wilson, 49, of Greenville died the afternoon of July 21, 2009 at his residence. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Coker-Mathews Chapel with Rev. Bill Hazelip and Rev. Lucas McManus officiating. Burial will follow in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Visitation is Wednesday form 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was born November 21,l959 in Greenville, son of James and Virginia Jones Wilson. He married Jody Byars on June ll,l983, in Greenville. Mr. Wilson was a truck driver for Love's.
Survivng are his wife of Greenville, his parents of Greenville, stepdaughters Melinda Byrd of Greenville and Veatrice Green of Rockwall, two brothers, Jimmy Wilson of Houston and Mark Wilson of Greenville, a sister, Gail Lee of Greenville, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A granddaughter, Marci Byrd, preceded him in death.
Pallbearers will be Rusty Burns, Brad Wagoner, Kenneth Miller, Brandon Morrison, Jimmy Wilson and Mark Wilson.
