Zeta Alyne Tidwell, 97, of Celeste died the night of July 23, 2009, at her residence. A graveside service is scheduled at 11 a.m. Monday at
Daughter of Claude and Emma DeFee Lowry, she was born April 20, 1912, in White Rock. On January 22, 1936, she married Cecil Tidwell in Celeste. Mrs. Tidwell was a homemaker and was a member of United Methodist Church of White Rock.
Survivors include a sister, Kathleen Hanson of Dallas; grandchildren Robin Halcomb and husband Barry of Paris, Texas, Wes Tidwell of Paris and Chris Tidwell and wife Kerri of Gainesville; great-grandchildren Matt Halcomb, Jessica Halcomb and Josh Halcomb and Alex Tidwell and Ava Tidwell, all of Paris, and Sutten Tidwell and Banner Tidwell of Gainesville; and great-great-grandchild Madison Sherwood of Paris.
Her parents, her husband and son Ronnie Tidwell preceded her in death.
