Berta Lou Gibson, 83, of Greenville, died Thursday, July 23, 2009 at Greenville Health and Rehab Center in Greenville. Private services will be held at a later date.
She was born on December 4, 1925, in Hunt County, Texas. She was the daughter of Walter Gibson and Ethel Officer Gibson. She was a retired secretary and a member of the Presbyterian church.
Survivors include a niece, Anne Norton of Farwell, Texas; nephews Charles Gibson, Jr. and his wife Sue and Anthony Macon; three great-nieces, three great-nephews and five great-great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Opal Stapleton and a brother Charles Walter Gibson.
